PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne volleyball team improved to 14-7 overall and 4-3 in the Atlantic 10 Conference on Friday after its 3-0 shutout victory over La Salle at the Palumbo Center.
The set scores were 25-21, 25-17, 25-15.
Allison Foschia (17 kills, 13 digs) recorded her 11th double-double of the season. Ashley Buse hit .353 with six kills. Patti Abshire had 25 digs and Taylor Jones recorded 39 assists.
A season-high home crowd of 461 spectators were on hand to see DU improve to 7-0 at home.
This was the first match of a five-match homestand that continues on Sunday against Temple. Match time is 1:00 p.m.
