Duquesne's swimming team opened the second half of its 2010-11 season Saturday at Cleveland State with a quad-meet with the host Vikings, Atlantic 10 foe Xavier and common opponent, Oakland.

The Dukes fell to all three foes, putting up a tough showing against Xavier with a 108-97 loss while losing to CSU, 151.5-85.5 and Oakland, 186-51.

Morgan Claycomb finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.61 while Amanda McClelland placed second in the 500 free in 5:10.97.

The Red and Blue return to action on Saturday, Jan. 22 as they host California (Pa.) at 1:00 p.m. at Towers Pool on Senior Day.
