Duquesne University junior baseball player Andrew Heck (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) has been named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the week ending April 4.

Heck went 10-19 (.526) with six runs scored and four RBI as Duquesne defeated Youngstown State and took two of three at La Salle. He had four doubles and a home run and added three steals and a pair of walks as well. Heck went 5-for-5 with three runs scored on Apr. 2 as the Dukes edged La Salle in 10 innings, 8-6 and tossed his third complete game of the season on Apr. 3, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out a career-best nine in Duquesne's 12-3 win.

The Dukes return to action on Tuesday, April 6 as they host Kent State at 3:00 p.m. at Duquesne Field.
