CHARLOTTE - The Duquesne women's soccer team finished its weekend road trip 1-1-0 after a 3-0 loss at Charlotte on Sunday afternoon.

The Dukes fall to 5-6-1, 2-1-0 A-10 on the season.

Just 1:47 into the contest, Charlotte's Whitney Bryant put the ball past Dukes keeper Gabby Morrin off a cross from Oni Bernard. The 49ers would add goals from Kirby Stenard and Whitney Weinraub.

The Niners Alex Kubrick recorded a shutout without having to make a single save. Morrin made five saves.

The Dukes return home to Rooney Field on Friday night when they host Fordham in the first of four straight home matches. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
