PITTSBURGH - Marshall's Megan Tabler found the back of the net four minutes into overtime giving the Thundering Herd a 1-0 victory over the Duquesne women's soccer team Friday night.

The Dukes had a scoring chance when Shayla Bergeron's shot was punched away by Marshall keeper Liz Orton with less than seven minutes to play in regulation.

The Herd scored when Angela DeSumma set up Tabler who tapped the ball past Dukes' keeper Gabby Morrin in the 96th minute.

The Dukes fall to 0-2-0 on the season heading into Sunday's match against cross-town rival Robert Morris.

"We showed a lot of heart," said head coach Tim Zundel. "We played good soccer. We can take many positives out of holding an opponent scoreless for 95 minutes."

This match was game two of the 2009 Duquesne Classic. In the first match, Manhattan defeated Robert Morris 3-1.
