Duquesne's men's swimming team won eight of nine individual races and both relays en route to a 108-83 victory over visiting Clarion Saturday afternoon at Towers Pool. Junior Edward LeBlanc and sophomroe Roman Becicka each won two races for the Red and Blue, who improve to 5-1 in dual meets.
The competition opened with DU winning the 200-yard medley relay in 1:37.20. LeBlanc followed by taking first in the 1,000 free in 9:51.65 and Jim O'Hara chipped in with a win in the 200 free in 1:44.49.
After a Clarion win in the 50 free, the Dukes rattled off wins in the final seven events to capture the victory. Also winning were Jim O'Hara, Mitchell Smith, Chris Kobela and Mark Krchnak.
The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Nov. 20 as they travel to St. Peter's for a 4:00 pm meet.
