Dukes Cruise Past Clarion, 110-90

The Duquesne women's swimming and diving team captured its fourth triumph of the season with a 110-90 victory over visiting Clarion Saturday afternoon at Towers Pool. Six different Dukes crossed the finish line first, including three who hail from the state of Texas.

Lone Star state winners included Kristi Magee in the 200-yard freestyle, Meghann McGoldrick in the 50 free and Amanda McClelland in the 100 free. Other winners included Karissa Gorman in the 1,000 free, Miriam McGeath in the 400 IM and Hannah Kondrotas in the 500 free.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Nov. 20 as they travel to St. Peter's for a 4:00 pm meet.
