Results

Duquesne's wrestling team recently competed in the National Catholic Invitational at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. with five Dukes finishing among the top four in their respective weight classes.

Senior Tony Lascari went 2-1 and finished second in the 141-pound weight class while fellow senior Ryan Sula went 1-1 to finish second at 184 pounds.

Three underclassmen turned in fourth place showings as sophomore Tony Clark pinned three opponent at 149 pounds, sophomore Alex Martinez captured three wins at 157 pounds and freshman Justin Buchanan went 2-2 at 197 pounds.

The Red and Blue return to the mat on Saturday, Nov. 14 as they compete in the Washington and Jefferson Open.
