Results

Duquesne's men's swimming team evened its season record at 1-1 with a 111-94 victory over visiting Buffalo Friday afternoon at Towers Pool.

The Dukes won seven of 11 races, including both relays, were led by freshman Roman Becicka who won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:46.47 and the 500-yard freestyle in 4:45.05.

Also winning races for the Red and Blue were sophomore Edward LeBlanc (1:54.54 in the 200-yard IM), sophomore Jim O'Hara (22.13 in the 50-yard freestyle) and junior Brendan Schilling (48.64 in the 100-yard freestyle).

DU also won the 400-yard meley relay in 3:30.82 and the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:26.01.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Nov. 1 as they travel to Bucknell for a 2:00 pm meet.
