BOWLING GREEN, OHIO - The Duquesne volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to host Bowling Green in the second day of the Best Western Invitational. The Dukes fall to 6-6 while the Falcons improve to 7-5.
With the first game tied at 28-28, BGSU's had back-to-back kills from Stephanie Swiger and Corey Domek to take the first game 30-28.
In the second game, Bowling Green broke a 6-6 deadlock and scored 16 of the next 22 points to take a 22-12 lead en route to a 30-16 victory.
The Dukes fell 30-20 in the third game as the Falcons hit .324 and had 14 kills.
Jessica Artman had nine kills while Nicole Wright, Katie Goss and Jenni Gross had seven digs each. Kristin Garnett had a team-high 21 assists.
Duquesne will finish the Best Western Invitational against DePaul Saturday afternoon.
