Farmeville, Va. - Junior Brendan Madden has a four-stroke lead following his five-under par 139 at Monday's opening rounds of the Longwood University Poplar Hill Intercollegiate in Farmeville, Va.following his five-under par 139 during Monday's opening rounds of the Longwood University Poplar Hill Intercollegiate. Duquesne is in fifth place in the 14-team, 54-hole event being played at The Manor Golf Club's 7,214-yard, par 72 course.

Madden has a four-stroke lead over a trio of players in second place (143). The Pittsburgh-area native shot a three-under par 69 over the first 18 holes and followed that up with a two-under par 70 in Monday's second round.

The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.
