The Duquesne University men's soccer team dropped its 2007 season-opener to Robert Morris, 2-0 Friday afternoon in Moon Township.

The two teams played a scoreless first half before the Colonials struck with a goal in the 50th minute and another in the 72nd minute.

The Dukes tallied eight shots led by sophomore Matthew Groves with three. Sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Finnegan made two saves.

The Red and Blue return to action on Saturday, Sept. 8 as they host Bucknell on Rooney Field at 7:00 pm.
