Dukes Win Fourth Straight, 148-145 at Clarion

Results

Duquesne's women's swimming team improved to 4-2 on the season with a 148-145 win Saturday afternoon at Clarion. Senior Melissa Johnson and freshman Erin Sykes each won three races to lead the Red and Blue.

Johnson captured first in the 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle while Sykes won the 1,000 freestyle, 500 freestyle and 400 IM. Also winning for DU were freshman Elizabeth Berk in the 200 butterfly and junior Katrina Streiner in the 50 free.

The Dukes return to action on Friday, Nov. 16 as they travel to St. Peter's for a 4:00 pm meet.
