Results

Duquesne's men's swimming team opened its 2007-08 season with a 129-107 loss at Buffalo Friday evening.

The Dukes won six of 13 events, including both relays. Senior Ian Walsh captured first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.00 and in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.26.

Freshman Jim O'Hara captured gold in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.33 while sophomore Ian P. Walsh was first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:00.24.

The Dukes return to the pool on Saturday as they travel to St. Bonaventure for a 1:00 pm meet.
