PHILADELPHIA - The Duquesne volleyball team rebounded from a loss Friday night against Temple with a 3-0 shutout Saturday afternoon against La Salle.
Jenni Gross had a game-high 14 kills and Dana McLaughlin, Nicole Wright and Jessica Artman had double-digit kills with 11, 10 and 10 respectively. Amy Palko had a game-best 20 digs followed by Wright with 13, Kaite Goss with 12 and McLaughlin with 11.
The Dukes improve to 10-11, 2-4 after the 30-12, 39-37, 30-25 victory over the Explorers (9-16, 1-6)
Du finishes out their five-game road trip next weekend at George Washington (10/19) and Charlotte (10/21) before returning home against Dayton (10/26) and Xavier (10/28).
