Olean, N.Y. - Duquesne University's golf team sits in a tie for seventh place after the first day of the 18th St. Bonaventure Leo Keenan Invitational at Bartlett Country Club.
Duquesne sophomore Drew Ellis is in second place with an even-par 70.
The Dukes and the St. Bonaventure Brown Team have 303's, two strokes behind Bucknell. The round was played amidst gusty winds on the water-logged Bartlett course. Fifteen (15) teams are competing this weekend.
Siena's Brian Bigley shot a tournament record, six-under par 64, for a six-shot lead over Ellis. The host Bonnies lead Siena by three strokes.
The 36-hole event concludes Monday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
