Freshman golfer Drew Elllis (Carnegie, PA/Carlynton) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 9. Ellis took first place at the rain-shortened Lafayette Invitational, shooting a 71 to lead the 110-golfer field. He helped the Dukes place seventh in the 21-team field with a team score of 307.

The Red and Blue return to action on Monday, April 17 as they compete in the two-day Cape May Invitational in New Jersey.
