Results

The Duquesne University wrestling team opened the 2006-07 season by participating in the Washington and Jefferson Open on Sunday, Nov. 5. Six Dukes captured at least three victories, led by senior Brandon Baldini who went 4-0 with two pins to capture the 149-pound title.

Also collecting four wins was 133-pound freshman Jayk Cobbs, who went 4-1 and placed third. Finishing in second at 133 pounds was senior Brad Cipriani who posted a 3-1 record. Others to win three matches were 165-pound junior Cody Midlam who finished second, 184-pound senior Jared Ricotta who took third and 197-pound senior Tim Frank who also took third.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Nov. 11 as they compete in the National Catholic Championships at Mercyhurst.
