For the second straight year, the Duquesne University's men's swimming team is ranked among the top 25 in the season's initial 2006-07 College Swim Coaches Association of America Mid-Major Poll. The Dukes are ranked 20th with 130.41 power points.

The mid-major rankings are announced four times throughout the season and were designed to support and promote programs that do not have the benefit of Division I-A football revenue.

The Red and Blue return to action on Dec. 1 as they compete in the three-day Akron Invitational.
