Results

Duquesne University's women's rowing team opened the 2006 fall season at the 20th Annual Head of the Ohio Regatta on the Allegheny River Oct. 7.

The Dukes had an excellent showing, as they captured two medals; second place in the Women's Lightweight 8 and third place in the Women's Lightweight 4. The Novice 4 and the Open 4 both had solid finishes in fourth place.

Duquesne returns to the waters October 28 for the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. The 2.75-mile race is held in Philadelphia's Fairmont Park. Over 10,000 contestants and onlookers travel to Philadelphia each year for ten hours of nonstop rowing.
