PITTSBURGH, PA - Duquesne suffered a 3-0 non-conference loss to visiting Robert Morris Tuesday night at the A.J. Palumbo Center. Sophomore Laura Kastein led the match and three Dukes in double-digit digs with 17. Freshman Chelsea Tillotson had 16 digs to go along with 33 assists while Amanda Haeg added 12 digs and a team-high nine kills.
Emily Wolthuis led the match and Robert Morris with 15 kills while Alaina Gibson had 15 digs.
The Colonials won game one 30-21 and followed up with a 30-26 margin in game two and mirrored that effort in game three to win the match with a 30-26 victory.
Robert Morris held a 52-40 edge in kills and a 59-58 margin in digs.
The Dukes return to Atlantic 10 action this weekend traveling to Saint Louis Saturday, Oct. 14 for an 8:00 pm (EST) match.
