Results

Duquesne's women's swimming team improved its record to 7-5 with a pair of weekend wins at Cleveland State. The Dukes defeated the host Vikings, 125-62 and topped A-10 foe Xavier, 103-86.

The Red and Blue collected six first place finishes led by junior Liz Yager who won the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 10:40.15 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:12.97. DU won both the 400-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay while freshman Katrina Streiner won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:57.89 and freshman Christina Sherrard won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.38.

The Dukes return to the water on Friday, January 20 as they travel to La Salle for a 4:00 pm meet.
