Results

The Duquesne women's rowing squad competed in two events this weekend at the Dad Vail Regatta - the Varsity and Novice 4. The Dukes' Novice 4 boat advanced to semi-final action.

The Varsity 4 placed sixth in its qualifying heat with a time of 8:08.97 as it faced strong competition in Catholic, Tulsa, Long Beach, Rutgers and Purdue. The top two boats in each heat advanced to semi-final action.

The Dukes' Novice 4 took first in its heat with a time of 8:07.09 defeating Wichita State, Carnegie Mellon, Susquehanna and NY-Maritime. The top finish advanced them to the semi-finals. Duquesne finished sixth in its semifinal heat with a time of 9:03.04. DU rowed against Chicago, Army, Long Beach, St. Thomas and USMMA.

The Dad Vail Regatta wrapped up the Dukes 04-05 season.
