The Duquesne University baseball team won its sixth straight Atlantic 10 contest, defeating visiting Xavier, 14-3 Sunday at Duquesne Field. The Dukes improve to 12-18 overall and 7-5 in the A-10 while Xavier falls to 13-24, 6-9.

Freshman Aaron Janusey led the Dukes, going 3-5 on the day with four RBI while sophomore Alex Sharick had a three-run homer and freshman Nolan Pena scored three runs. Freshman Jeremy Gerger pitched the first five innings to pick up his second win of the season while junior Adam Haun pitched the final four scoreless innings to pick up his third save.

The Red and Blue return to the diamond on Tuesday, April 19 as they travel to Kent State for a 3:00 pm game.
