Duquesne University sophomore Scott Darwin was named the Atlantic 10 Championship Most Outstanding Performer after Saturday's completion of the four-day competition.
Darwin scored 56 team points for the Dukes as he captured two gold medals for the Red and Blue. He won the 100-yard backstroke in a school record time of 51.07 on Friday and the 200-yard backstroke in a school record time of 1:50.96 on Saturday. He also captured a bronze medal as he placed third in the 50-yard freestyle with a Duquesne season-best time of 21.24 on Thursday.
