The Duquesne University men's swimming team captured seventh place for the second straight year at the Atlantic 10 Championship with 270 points. The Dukes were led by sophomore Scott Darwin who was named the Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Performer. Darwin captured his second gold medal of the meet on Saturday by winning the 200-yard backstroke in a school record time of 1:50.96.
Junior Hugo Erse also set a school record in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:54.03 while the 400 freestyle relay team set a new school standard with a time of 3:08.90.
