Pittsburgh, Pa. - Duquesne University's women's rowing team opened the 2005 fall season with two medals at the 19th Annual Head of the Ohio Regatta on the Allegheny River Saturday.

The DU Women's Lightweight 8 took second place and the Women's Open Double was third overall in their divisions.

Duquesne returns to the waters this weekend when they travel to Fairfax, Va. for the Occoquan Challenge at Danby Run Regional Park on Saturday, October 9th starting at 11:00 a.m. The Challenge was the first to design a course that allows all types of racing shells to complete a race track circuit without stopping.
