Duquesne's women's volleyball team suffered a 3-1 road loss at Dayton Friday evening.

The Dukes jumped on the Flyers early with a 30-28 win, but lost a hard-fought second game, 34-32 before dropping games three and four, 30-24 and 30-26.

Sophomore Lindsay Hess tallied 14 kills on the day while Amanda Haeg had 17. Diana Wuebker led the Dukes with 16 digs.

The Red and Blue remain in western Ohio as they take on Xavier Saturday at 4:00 pm.
