Results

The Duquesne men's swimming team suffered a 109-96 loss to visiting Towson Saturday afternoon at Towers Pool. Sophomore Scott Darwin, junior Hugo Erse and freshman Ian Walsh each had a hand in two DU victories. Darwin took first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.41 and was also first in the 200-yard backstroke with a 1:55.45. Erse was first in the 200 butterfly in 1:58.14, Walsh finished first in the 200 freestyle in 1:47.08 and both swimmers helped lead the 400 freestyle relay team to a win in 3:20.00.

The Red and Blue return to Towers Pool next Saturday, Jan. 22 as they host Niagara at 1:00 pm in their home finale.
