Rehoboth Beach, Del. - Duquesne University's golf team opened the 2004 fall schedule with a sixth place finish at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational at Kings Creek Country Club on the Delaware shore.

George Washington, the host team and defending champion, finished seven strokes ahead of Drexel in the 10 team competition.

The Dukes return to action this upcoming weekend when they head to southwestern New York for the St. Bonaventure Invitational at the Bartlett Country Club in Olean, N.Y. on Sunday and Monday, Oct. 3-4, 2004.
