The Duquesne University golf team won the 2004 Duquesne Invitational at Valley Brook Country Club with a two-day score of 323-311-634. The Dukes defeated St. Francis-PA (321-329-650), Niagara (328-332-660) and St. Bonaventure (342-335-677).

Junior Tom Hungerford led the Dukes and was second overall in the 24-golfer field with a score of 81-75-156. Following close behind were senior Steve Seiden (78-80-158), freshman Jon Merriott (78-80-158), junior Mike Namey (79-80-159), and sophomore Andy Kwiatkowski (85-76-161).

The Dukes conclude the 2003-04 season on Friday, April 30 as they participate in the three-day Atlantic 10 Championship in Newport, RI.
