Five Duquesne University wrestlers finished among the top six in their respective weight classes at Saturday's ashland Open led by senior Marc Allemang who won the heavyweight division with a perfect 4-0 record.

Allemang defeated 16th-ranked Jeremiah Beltran, 3-2 in the semifinals to advance to the finals where he beat Ohio's Marcus Adelman, 5-1. Other Dukes who placed were freshman Jonathan Bittinger (3rd at 125 pounds), sophomore Brad Cipriani (fourth at 133 pounds), junior Jared Ricotta (fourth at 184 pounds) and sophomore Tim Frank (sixth at 197 pounds).

The Dukes return to the mat this Saturday, Nov. 20 as they compete in the Navy Classic.
