Olean, New York - Duquesne University's golf team is in third place after the first day of the 15-team St. Bonaventure Leo Keenan Invitational at Bartlett Country Club.
Freshman Jon Pratkanis led the Red and Blue with the second best round of the day, a 73 on the par 70 course. Senior Mike Namey tied for 10th with a mark of 75.
Drexel and Rider are tied for first with a mark of 300. Duquesne is five strokes behind at 305 followed by Robert Morris at 306. The host Bonnies and Youngstown State are tied for fifth with 307.
The 36-hole event concludes on Monday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
