Absecon, New Jersey - Freshman Jon Pratkanis led Duquesne University's golf team at Temple's John MacDonald Classic at Galloway National Golf Course on Monday. Pratkanis's first round score of 78 was good for 18th place followed by senior Mike Namey's 80 (26th place).

The Red and Blue are in ninth place at the 10-team tournament with a score of 325. DU is eight shots shy of sixth place Connecticut.

Play concludes Tuesday morning at Galloway National.
