Duquesne's women's swimming team opened its 2004-05 campaign with a 124-81 loss to visiting St. Bonaventure at Towers Pool.

Sophomore Liz Yager captured second place in two events for the Dukes, swimming a 10:44.53 in the 1000-yard freestyle and a 5:18.99 in the 500-yard freestyle.

The Red and Blue return to the pool on Saturday, Nov. 6 as they travel to West Virginia to face the Mountaineers and Youngstown State Penguins.
