Duquesne freshman Michael Edwards has been named the Atlantic 10 Golf Rookie of the Week. Edwards was honored following his performace at the two-day Binghamton University NBT Bank Collegiate Classic at the Links at Hiawatha Landing. He led Duquesne and was fifth overall out of 59 golfers with a score of 77-74-151.

It is the second straight week a Duquesne golfer has earned A-10 Rookie of the Week honors as fellow freshman Jon Pratkanis was named last week. The Dukes placed third out of 11 teams with a two-day score of 316-303-619.
