Dukes Shut Out At Dayton, 3-0

Dayton, Ohio - Duquesne University's volleyball team was shut out by the Dayton Flyers, 3-0 (32-30, 30-26, 30-25) Friday night at the Frericks Center.

Sophomore Amanda Haeg (New Prague, Minn. / New Prague) paced the Dukes with 12 kills and four blocks. Junior Diana Wuebker (St. Henry, Ohio / St. Henry) had 12 digs and four blocks. Senior Erin Trageser (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin) contributed 11 digs. Freshman Kristin Garnett (Frankfort, Ill. / Lincoln-Way East) again averaged double-digit assists with 33 in the three matches.

Christy Utnage led UD (13-7, 5-1 A-10) with 24 kills and Adrieene Green saved 17 digs. Nichole Schott had 42 assists.

The Dukes (9-12, 2-4 A-10) head to Cincinnati for another Atlantic 10 road contest at Xavier (11-8, 5-1 A-10) on Sat. Oct. 16 at 4:00 p.m.
