Moon Township, Pa. - Duquesne University's golf team finished in fifth place Tuesday at the two-day Robert Morris University Crowne Plaza Colonial Classic at Montour Heights Country Club.

Duquesne freshman Jon Pratkanis (Butler, PA / Butler), the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after finishing second at last week's St. Bonaventure Leo Keenan Invitational, took third with a score of 148 (72-76). Pratkanis has turned in the best score for Duquesne in all three events this fall and leads the team with a 74.0 strokes average.

This weekend, the Dukes will compete in the Binghamton University BNT Bank Classic at the Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, N.Y. The two-day event begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2004.
