Results
The men's swimming team completed day two of the Akron Invitational and had one swimmer win an event and two others set school records.
Ed Wicker placed first and set a meet record in the 100-yard butterfly. His time of 50.72 was 0.31 off the school record. In addition, Clayton Dean placed third in the 400-yard individual medley with a school record time of 4:07.8 while Scott Darwin set a Duquesne record in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing fourth in 51.78.
The Dukes will compete in the third and final day of the event tomorrow.
