Duquesne University's third year swimming coach David Sheets announced today that Eric Arckey (Maitland, FL / Trinity Prep), Joshua Barr (New Cumberland, PA / Cedar Cliff) and Jason Reinhard (Allentown, PA / Parkland) have recently signed National Letters of Intent to attend Duquesne University for the 2004-2005 season.

Arckey is a multiple-year letterman and was the district champion in the 100-yard breaststroke in 2003. His team was district champions during the 2001-02 season.

Barr is his school's record holder in the 100-yard breaststroke and was a Mid-Penn champion in the 100 breast and 200 individual medley. In addition he was a high school All-American in the 100 breast while placing sixth in the event in the state.

Reinhard was a 2003 district champion and All-American in the 100-yard backstroke as well as in three relay events. A two-time district champ in the backstroke, he holds the team record in the event and finished fifth at the state championships as well.
