One of Duquesne's finest golfers will be honored at halftime of the Dukes' men's basketball game versus George Washington on Saturday when Don Hastings (class of '61) will be inducted into the Duquesne University Sports Hall of Fame.

Hastings, a member of the Duquesne golf team as an undergrad, is a past president of the Dukes Court Athletic Association ? the chief fund-raising arm of Duquesne Athletics. Hastings, who will be inducted as a "builder" of the department, will be recognized for his tireless behind-the-scenes work in supporting the Department of Athletics over the last quarter-century.

The other inductee is tennis star Whitney Snyder (class of '83) who currently coaches the Dukes.
