The wrestling team ended the 2002 tournament portion of its schedule by competing at the Penn State Open.

Seven Dukes particpated, led by sophomore heavyweight Marc Allemang who went 4-2 on the day and finished sixth to improve his record to 17-6. Senior Bill Boeh (165 pounds) also went 4-2 on the day and improved his record to 17-6 as well.

The Dukes return to action on Tuesdat, Jan. 7 as they host American and Eastern Illinois at 6:00 pm in the Palumbo Center.
