Duquesne's men's swimming team lost matches to A10 foes Fordham and Rhode Island Saturday at FU's Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.
The Fordham Rams topped Duquesne 159-41 while the Rhode Island Rams won by a 157-43 score. Freshman Hugo Erse (Sao Paulo, Brazil / Colegio Benjamin Constant) paced the Red and Blue with a second place finish in the 500 yard freestyle in 4:49.57.
The Dukes, now 1-3, 0-3 A-10, are next in action December 5th at the Akron Invitational.
