The wrestling team fared well at the Ashland Open, having eight individuals in seven different weight classes finish in the top six of their respective weight classes.

The Dukes were led by a first place finish from senior newcomer Brian Neuman who won the 184-pound division and senior Bill Boeh who placed second at 165 pounds.

Junior Jon Denk at 149 pounds and sophomore Marc Allemang at heavyweight turned in third place performances while sophomore Mark Himes (174) and senior Jeffrey Moskyok (197) placed fourth. Also, sophomore Matt Doak finished fifth at 184 pounds and 157-pound sophomore Ryan Powell placed sixth.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Nov. 23 as they participate in the Slippery Rock Open.
