The women's swimming team fell to 1-1 on the season with a 123-78 loss to visiting St. Bonaventure.

Freshman Amy Gersbach led the Dukes with a first place finish in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:28.14 and a second place finish in the 1,000 free in 10:52.21. Also notching second place finishes for the Dukes were juniors Annie Baldassari (200 free) and Kathy Smucler (500 free) and freshmen Elizabeth Barba (50 free), Sarah Breisinger (100 back) and Jillian Rupinski (100 breast).

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Nov. 9 as they host Niagara at 1:00 pm at Towers Pool.
