Megan Parmarter

Megan Parmarter, a former rower for the Dukes, is in her fourth season as an assistant coach.

Parmarter got her start in rowing as a sophomore at Duquesne. After a year in the boat, she made the move to coxswain where she competed at a multitude of regattas, including Head of the Schuylkill, Head of the Occoquan, the Knecht Cup, and Dad Vails.

Before starting her position as an assistant coach, she worked as a privacy and compliance specialist, assisting corporate clientele with legal compliance while balancing a client's right to privacy. She also works pro bono for Green Dot Games as a video game writer.

Parmarter completed her undergraduate degree in English at Duquesne in 2014.
