2009-10 Women's Tennis Roster
Biography
Erin Conroy, who is coming off a spectacular 2009-10 season with the Dukes, returns as Coach Camillo[apos]s graduate student for the 2010-11 season.
Conroy came to the Bluff from Florida Southern College after earning her English degree in three years. She is working towards her masters degree in integrated marketing communications. Conroy boasts a 3.95 GPA including a perfect 4.0 GPA for the Spring 2010 semester.
As a Senior (2010)
Named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America District 2 At-Large team ... Named to the 2010 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second-Team ... finished her first and only year at Duquesne 36-19 ... recorded team-high 17 singles wins.
As a Junior at Florida Southern (2009)
Finished the season 31-12 while leading Florida Southern to a 16-7 record and a #16 national Division II ranking ... Sunshine State Conference honorable mention ... SSC Player of the Week ... Intercollegiate Tennis Assocation Scholar-Athlete.
As a Sophomore at Florida Southern (2008)
Had an .800 winning percentage in singles play (16-4), at #3 (6-2) and #4 (10-2)... SSC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll ... ITA Scholar-Athlete ... NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award ... Florida Southern Athletic Director[apos]s Scholar-Athelete Award winner for women[apos]s tennis.
As a Freshman at Florida Southern (2007)
Went 17-4 in singles play, mostly at the #6 position where she was 11-4... Went 3-0 at both the #4 and #5 positions... Had a 6-1 mark in conference play.
Won 2004 and 2006 district title in singles and doubles ... advanced to the state tournament... District runner-up in 2005 ... lettered in basketball and soccer ... Class Salutatorian.
