Before Duquesne

Played for Sigma FC Academy in Toronto.
Was one of 12 players selected to represent Team Canada East at the 2009 Danone Nations Cup (ages 11-12). The 24 players on the two Canadian teams were handpicked from among 6,000 young people who took part in 10 Danone Nations Cup camps and four provincial selection camps across the country. The 2009 Cup - which was to be played in Brazil - was canceled due to the international influenza pandemic.
Led the Danone Cup U13 Team Canada squad to the consolation title in 2010.
Scored with seven minutes left in front of a crowd of 36,000 at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, South Africa to give Team Canada a 3-2 win over Russia.
Spent two weeks training at Real Mallorca in Spain as a 13-year-old.
