2020-21 ALL-NEC FIRST TEAM
NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK (3.22.21)

As a Senior (2020-21)

  • Started all five games at safety for Duquesne
  • Led the Duquesne defense with 37 tackles (32 solo) on the year with two tackles for loss, an interception, two pass breakups and a hurry
  • Paced the NEC with 32 solo tackles on the year 
  • Finished with 10 tackles (eight solo) with his second career interception in the Dukes' win over LIU (3.21.21) on his way to being recognized as NEC Defensive Player of the Week
  • Had nine tackles (seven solo) in season-opening victory over Sacred Heart (3.7.21)
  • Tallied eight solo tackles in triumph at Bryant (3.28.21) in regular season finale
  • Recorded seven tackles (four solo) with a pass breakup in win over Wagner (3.14.21)

As a Junior (2018)

  • Appeared in all 13 games in his debut season with the Dukes, making five starts
  • Tallied 52 tackles (39 solo), good for fourth on the team
  • Added 5.5 tackles for loss, an interception, seven pass breakups and a forced fumble
  • Finished with career-high nine tackles (six solo) to go with a 68-yard interception returned for a touchdown in win at Wagner (11.3.18)
  • Recorded seven tackles (six solo) apiece against Dayton (9.15.18) and Bryant (10.6.18)
  • Had three solo stops and a forced fumble which led to a Duquesne touchdown to give the Dukes an early 7-0 lead at FBS Hawaii (9.22.18)
  • Registered six tackles (five solo) in crucial win over Sacred Heart (11.10.18)
  • Added six tackles (four solo) in the Dukes' FCS Playoff victory at Towson (11.24.18)
  • Started the Dukes' two FCS Playoff games at Towson (11.24.18) and South Dakota State (12.1.18)

As a Sophomore at Monroe College (2017)

  • Helped the Mustangs to an 8-2 record while spending time ranked in the NJCAA Football Rankings throughout the season
  • Part of Monroe defense which led the NJCAA in scoring defense (10.8 ppg.) and rushing defense (43.1 ypg.)
  • Earned First Team All-Northeast Football Conference accolades
  • Finished with 31 total tackles, a sack, an interception
  • Had seven tackles in 36-7 win over Nassau
  • Tallied five tackles, including four tackles for loss and a sack in 33-3 victory over New Jersey
  • Recorded a pair of pass breakups vs. Valley Forge, Hudson Valley
  • Finished with six tackles against No. 19 Lackawanna
  • Also punted for the Mustangs 

As a Freshman at Vermillon College (2016)

  • Was the Ironmen’s leading tackler with 60 stops (45 solo) in nine games
  • Also led the team with four interceptions 
  • Had a 40-yard interception return for a touchdown to go with a forced fumble vs. Northland
  • Finished with a season-high 11 tackles with a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown vs. Dakota

Before College

  • Attended Shea High School in Pawtucket, R.I.
  • Moved to Rhode Island from Cape Verde when he was in seventh grade
