Wexford, Pa. – The Duquesne University women's tennis team snapped a two-match skid, sweeping Ashland 7-0 on Saturday afternoon, inside the Oxford Athletic Club. With the win, the Dukes improved to 2-3 this season.

Alexandra O'Brien followed with a 6‑2 victory against Evalienna Pryor and Constanza Arancibia at the second slot.
Duquesne was in control from the start, winning all six singles flights with strong, straight‑set performances. At the top spot, Badics opened the day with a solid 6‑3, 6‑3 win over Constanza Arancibia before senior
Jasa Roka followed with a decisive 6‑0, 6‑3 victory against Anna Corbel. At third singles, O'Brien was equally impressive, finishing 6‑1, 6‑1 versus Ana Penteado before sophomore
Denisse Arinez Guilarte blanked Maria Jemio 6‑0, 6‑0 in a dominant showing. Junior
Sofia Serrano continued the shutout effort with a 6‑0, 6‑2 win over Evalienna Pryor while Yakunina picked up the final point via default.
